This is an exploration of the abstract idea of ‘the physicality of time’ with drapery as the main subject...
How I See Time...

Given that we see everything within our universe – from our actions to our thoughts – as somewhat dependent on time, I started playing around with the idea that life is immersed/ draped in (a field of) time.

From there, I looked into the idea of using drapery as a subject to symbolize time in a physical sense.

Even as time changes, it remains an absolute/constant phenomenon & I wished to express this idea directly through studies of the folds, creases and contortions in drapery, which to a large extent capture time's complex nature.
End of Time?
